Because we are frequently asked - WREN & DIVINE is named after the founding family's ancestors who have strong roots in the Washington, D.C. area. WREN comes from the family's ancestor James Wren founder of Falls Church, Virginia and great grandson of Sir Christopher Wren, the 17th century noted English Architect and founder of the Royal Society. Divine comes from the family's ancestor Daniel Divine who was involved in many aspects of McLean, Virginia life including farming, development, and politics.
